Richard's has extraordinary seafood. The lobster roll was one on the best I've had and the fish sandwich was enormous and delectable. They also have some great beers and ales on tap. Don't miss the fries. The service was fast and attentive. The outdoor tables with umbrellas turned over pretty fast. We are going to go out of our way to go there again.

The Tacos were amazing! Flavourful and delicious. I wasn't too crazy about the fish and chips or the fish burger, the fish had no flavor however the chips (fries) were pretty good. We added salt and pepper and more sauce to the burger to add flavor. Portions are big. Would definitely recommend for tacos and lobster roll! Absolutely worth it!

Amazing quality, outdoor seating right in town by the water. So many fresh options to choose from. I’d recommend the butter lobster roll sandwich with fresh cut fries. The local beer is amazing too. Highly recommend! I can’t wait to return.

I visited Richard’s in PEI and tried their famous lobster roll with fries — and it did not disappoint. The lobster was super fresh, buttery, and generously portioned, served on the perfect toasted bun. The fries were crispy and golden, a perfect match for the roll. The view by the water made the whole experience even better. This is a must-stop spot if you’re visiting the island. Can’t wait to go back!

As we approached the back of the line-up at Richard’s, there was an active debate in front of us over whether the long wait was worth it, or whether the shorter line at the Lobster Barn, in clear sight, was the play. They went with the shorter wait, to our benefit. Still, it was almost 1 hour before our lobster was in our hands. The Classic (not butter, people, come on!) was the pro balance of mayo, lemon and dill, the perfect foil for the sweet lobster. They lift it. Enhance it. Delicious. The fries or salad? Neither are needed unless you are seeking out a food coma, but there was no no-side option. Fries were well cooked, though. Verdict: you would have to do something Miraculous to beat this lobster roll. They let the lobster sing, let it be the star of the show. And that’s what we were seeking. Double yum. I’ll take it a step further, next time I go I will ask that they don’t even butter the outside of the roll before toasting. It is only a distraction from The Star.

The lobster sandwich, especially with butter, is awesome! Large portions and totally delicious. Goes well with fries and soft drink. update: went back again two days later, with more photos.

The lobster roll was sooo good! Portion is incredible, the meat was falling out of the bun. Fries were insane, and the wine was good (especially for the price). Would go back 10/10.

Best lobster roll on PEI! The bun was buttery and toasted to perfection, the lobster meat was sweet and tender, and the portion was generous for the price. The fries were also magnificent. This location had almost no lineup compared to the original Richard's, and it has an equally charming seaside vibe. Highly recommend!
